Commissioner Announces Plans to Recruit 100 Police Officers

John Dwyer, Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire has asked senior officers of the Constabulary to set plans in place to recruit 100 new Police Officers.

John Dwyer said, “A recruitment campaign will be launched on 12 May and I want to raise the bar and recruit 100 new officers by the end of March next year which is higher than I had originally planned”.

Information about how to apply and details about the required Certificate of Knowledge in Policing (CKP) or the Foundation Degree in Policing, Law and Investigation will be available on the Constabulary website from 12 May.
