Funding from Cheshire police and crime commissioner’s Safer Communities Fund has been awarded to a new food parcel and support project in a Cheshire village.

A concerned resident has developed a new local food parcel service in and around Kelsall to support a number of families and local people in this largely rural location during the lockdown.

Local resident Vicky Charlton, is working alongside the Patient Partnership Group and the local Parish Council to ensure local families have access to the essential items they need whilst in self-isolation. The families being supported are self-isolating for medical reasons, meaning it is unsafe for them to leave their homes.
