Business as usual

In light of the Government's decision to abolish the Police and Crime Commissioner model, Cheshire's Police and Crime Commissioner Dan Price has provided a statement.

In light of the Government’s decision to abolish the Police and Crime Commissioner model, Cheshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Dan Price said:

“Following today’s announcement, I’d like to reassure all residents, commissioned services, and partners across the county – and of course the officers and staff at Cheshire Constabulary – that it’s business as usual for the PCC in Cheshire. Nothing has changed and nothing will change until beyond May 2028.

My team and I will continue the important work we are doing to protect victims, reduce crime, listen to the public and to modernise, all whilst continuing to hold the Chief Constable to account on behalf of the public in Cheshire.”
