Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS) was founded in the mid-1990s and is a registered charity.
We are affiliated to Rape Crisis England and Wales and adhere to their National Standards. We are also an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
We provide free confidential and unlimited counselling, as well as a telephone support line for anyone aged 18 years and over who have been affected by any form of rape, sexual abuse or sexual violence at any time in their lives. This includes people who may not necessarily have been abused directly, but who might have witnessed the abuse (partner or sibling) or been affected by someone’s disclosure to them (professional such as a nurse, social worker etc.).
We are based in Chester city centre in an easily accessible and discrete location. We cover the Cheshire West and North Wales areas such as Ellesmere Port, Saltney and Flintshire. However, if you are outside these areas and feel that Chester would be the most appropriate location for you to access our counselling service then please get in touch with us.
