Through the Community Cashback Fund, the Commissioner invests money seized from criminals back into communities, and gives them a say over how it is spent.
The principle of this fund is that money is spent by the community, for the community, in the community.
Each of Cheshire's nine Local Policing Units (LPUs) will be allocated £10,000 from a pot of money that has been seized from criminals.
Local community groups, policing teams and businesses will be able to bid for funding to support a project they are proposing.
This page will be updated as the Fund progresses, so keep checking back for news about when you can apply and how the Community Cashback Fund has improved areas across Cheshire.
The Community Cashback Fund is now closed. Check back here for news about funding available in 2023/24.
