Joint Management Board
The Joint Management Board supports decision-making and oversight.
It brings together senior leaders from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and Cheshire Constabulary to:

- discuss priorities
- monitor progress
HMICFRS
His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) independently inspects police forces.
It:
- assesses how well Cheshire Police is performing
- publishes reports and recommendations
- helps identify areas for improvement
Independent Ethics Panel
The Independent Ethics Panel promotes ethical standards in policing.
It:
- provides advice on ethical issues
- reviews policies and decisions
- supports fair and transparent working
Police and Crime Panel
The Police and Crime Panel is independent of the PCC and his team.
It:
- reviews the PCC’s decisions and actions
- supports transparency and accountability
- represents the views of local communities
