The Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is supported by a dedicated team, led by the Chief Executive.

This team plays a vital role in supporting the PCC to achieve their priorities and deliver the Police and Crime Plan. This team is not part of Cheshire Constabulary, and like the PCC is part of a separate organisation.

The teams’ commitment and expertise help drive positive change, uphold high standards and ensure that the public get the service they need. Apart from the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner (if appointed), they are not political appointees and are politically restricted.

Some of the roles in the team are part time, part funded by other agencies or fully funded via other sources (for example, partner agencies).
