What is a Publication Scheme?

A Publication Scheme is a requirement under the Freedom of Information Act.

It sets out the types of information that public bodies should publish routinely and make available to the public.

What information is available?

The Publication Scheme includes information about:

• finances, budgets and spending
• audits and annual accounts
• decision-making and governance
• consultations and impact assessments
• policies, plans and strategies
• contracts and procurement
• services we provide
• reports, publications and news updates

Much of this information is also published as part of the Specified Information Order.
