Creating phone-free secondary schools in Cheshire

Dan Price and his team are working with state secondary schools across Cheshire to implement lockable phone pouch systems. Making it easier than ever to create distraction-free learning environments.

How it works?

• Students store phones in locked pouches at the start of the day
• Phones remain inaccessible during school hours – exceptions can be made for those who need access due to medical reasons
• Devices are unlocked at the end of the school day

This approach removes enforcement challenges and ensures consistent policy for all pupils.

How much will it cost?

Use the phone pouch calculator to see the total cost of implementing the phone pouches at your school. All cost calculations use a price of £8.75 per pouch.

Please be aware that costs may be different if the pouches are bought outside of the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s buying process.
